Up until now I worked within the shipwrighting industry in Kwinana, WA SHIPWRIGHTING Pty Ltd, servicing international bulk cargoes at the Kwinana Cargo Bulk Jetty (KBJ). Initially I basically did general labouring and maintenance duties but then gained my certification for dogging and basic rigging (DG & RB) also my Maritime Safety Identification Card, MISC, so have been doing this kind of work since.

I commenced working for them not long after working away for an American copper mining company, Sebuku, Balikpapan, Indonesia.

I have recently completed an OPITO certified TBOSIET course i.e HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training), First Aid, Sea Survival etc. In the near future I also plan to get my Intermediate and Advanced Rigging Tickets as well as my Basic Scaffolding certification.

I am looking for a position where I will be able to gain a foothold in the oil and gas industry while working offshore preferably as a roustabout so that I can work my way up through the drill floor and gain the position of a petroleum drilling engineer in the future.
